Her mission to educate, equip and empower older adults and their families by providing on-going FREE seminars, assistance with move management, senior living communities, in-home care, trust, elder and probate attorneys, financial advisors, home repairs, hospice, real estate services and more. For many years, Nancy has worked with older adults and their family members to navigate the complex issues that go along a late-in-life move.

Imagine growing older in a world where everything is happening so fast that you simply can’t keep up. And for those who are trying to stay informed, the continual barrage of sales pitches, advertisements and upsells is overwhelming. Finding free education and credible information that isn’t tried to a data mining campaign or endless stream of unwanted emails is impossible.
Sea Coast Seniors was created to empower older adults and their families so they are able to make “knowledge-driven” decisions in advance, instead of “crisis-driven” decisions once the unexpected happens.
Our focus at SCS is to address the complex issues that often accompany a late in life move and to empower families by helping them create a personalized step-by-step plan that includes potential solutions that can be implemented implemented immediately in a crisis.
Nancy Puder created SCS because of her continual experiences with with older adults and families in crisis. She noticed over time that most families were not prepared for an unexpected event at all.
Once the crisis had occurred, there was an urgent need to address issues like finances, legal uncertainties, housing, in-home care and sometimes even dementia. Add family emotions, stress, fear of making the wrong decision and not knowing where to start to the equation and we get tot chaos which Nancy found way too many times. The senior and the family were simply overwhelmed.
That is why Nancy decided to tackle this scenario head-on with the hope of making a difference.
Nancy created Sea Coast Seniors and since has made it her mission to help connect families and older adults with reliable resources to help make the journey easier and even enjoyable.
She was able to develop a wonderful resource team of professional and like-minded people whom she has developed strong relationships with over time so that she feels confident when she refers them.
Families and seniors are encouraged to begin the early stages of decision making now so they are better prepared for when the crisis happens. SCS begins by helping you put together a simple “what if” plan with some options that you might want to consider instead of leaving it up to others to make the decision for you.
There is no cost or obligation to be part of the Sea Coast Seniors empowerment program. Nancy views Sea Coast Seniors as her small way of giving back to the community.
